FAQs

We use professional-grade coatings from leading manufacturers, chosen specifically for each surface. That can include oil-based enamels for trim and cabinetry, durable exterior coatings for Alberta weather, and high-quality wall paints for interiors. During your estimate we’ll specify exactly what we recommend for your project.

Yes. We offer low-VOC and eco-conscious paint options that keep indoor air quality and family comfort in mind, especially for bedrooms, nurseries, and main living spaces.

Our quotes typically include two full finish coats on properly prepared surfaces. If we’re going from very dark to very light (or vice-versa), we’ll specify in the quote if additional build-up is required to reach a clean, even finish.

With proper prep and quality products, interior paint work usually looks great for many years, and exterior finishes can last up to a decade or more depending on exposure and maintenance. We’ll give you realistic expectations for your specific home or project.

Every project is different. A single room may take a day; a full interior or full exterior can take several days to a couple of weeks. After seeing the space, we provide a clear schedule so you know exactly what to expect.

We work to be as unobtrusive as possible: protecting floors and furniture, keeping tools organized, and cleaning up daily. For occupied homes, we plan the sequence so you keep access to key rooms. For builder projects, we coordinate with other trades to keep things moving smoothly.

Light prep from you goes a long way: remove small décor items, clear surfaces where possible, and make sure we have access to the areas being painted. We handle the rest—surface protection, patching, sanding, caulking, and all professional prep work.

Yes. A large part of our work is with builders, renovators, and general contractors. We can quote from plans, work to construction timelines, and meet the standards required for handovers and warranty programs.

If your home is older and may contain lead or other legacy coatings, we follow strict safety procedures and industry best practices to contain dust and protect your family and our crew.
